Exmoor Gardening Services

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all gardening and landscaping services provided by Exmoor Gardening Services ("we", "our", "us") to the client ("you", "your"). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services Provided
We offer a range of gardening services including, but not limited to:

General garden maintenance

Lawn mowing and strimming

Hedge trimming
-
Planting and border care
-
Landscaping and garden clearance
-
Fencing and small structural features
A detailed description of services and fees will be provided in your written or verbal quote.
3. Booking and Cancellations

All bookings must be confirmed via phone, email, or in person.

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee equal to one hour of service.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Access and Safety

You agree to provide safe and clear access to the property during agreed hours.

We reserve the right to refuse or halt work where safety is compromised (e.g., aggressive animals, hazardous materials, unsafe structures).

You must notify us in advance of any known risks or hazards on your property.
5. Payments

Payment is due within 7 days of invoice unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Late payments may incur interest at 3% above the Bank of England base rate.

We accept bank transfer and cash (receipts available). Cheques only by prior agreement.

For ongoing services, a regular billing cycle can be arranged.
6. Materials and Waste

Any materials purchased on your behalf will be charged at cost + handling, with prior approval.

We can remove green waste if agreed in advance. A surcharge may apply.

Alternatively, we can leave waste bagged for your local green waste collection.
7. Liability and Insurance

We are fully insured for public liability and damage caused in the course of our work.

We are not liable for damage caused by poor site conditions, hidden obstructions, or acts of nature.

You are responsible for informing us of any underground pipes, cables, or fixtures prior to work.
8. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us within 48 hours so we can resolve the issue promptly.

We aim to resolve all complaints fairly and quickly.
9. Intellectual Property

All designs, plans, or written materials provided by us remain our intellectual property unless agreed otherwise in writing.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within this jurisdiction.
